The nine printed issues of the Urbane Künste Ruhr Magazine from 2019 to 2023 create an experimental publication in bound form that documents the institution’s projects from the last six years. In it, Urbane Künste Ruhr explores the particularities of the Ruhr region and the relationship between art and the public in a variety of ways – in the form of academic, essayistic and popcultural contributions by numerous authors and artists.
